I’ve enjoyed a nice long Labor Day weekend, and am looking forward to beginning Week 2 with my new Radiography students. This week we will finish learning basic positioning concepts and new terminology. Next we will begin learning anatomy of the chest, how to position a patient for a chest xray, and radiographically significant pathology of the thorax.
Enjoy some more practice with terminology and positioning:

Remember the old saying, “every great oak standing tall in the wood was once a nut on the ground” (author unknown).
Starting somewhere (like the acorn on the ground) is better than not starting at all. With time, patience, an open mind, and hard work, you too can stand tall among your peers.
